  This is the only church that has policies that is not welcoming to church goers during mass. They put barrier in the middle aisle while a lector or priest is talking in the mass, which offended my husband when he came in and the usher told him, "you need to wait". The usher should have said "please wait". My husband got offended the way the Usher told him was rude and impolite that as if my husband has to fall in line in order to get in. My husband got offended that he just left and wait for me in the car. While I was already sitting inside 2nd row to the last in the middle aisle, I saw my husband left. I texted him and asked where he was and he needs to come back. The same Usher who told my husband to wait was the same man who called my attention and told me not to text because the homily is going on. I told the Usher that I am calling my husband so he will come back. I know that I was in the church to hear mass and not to text but I needed to because I want my husband to come back and join me. I got offended too for what the Usher did to me because I was embarrassed because the people beside me and at the back and in front looked at me. I was about to leave because of embarrassment but then I told myself that I was there to hear mass and to be with the Lord. But I got mad deep inside of me because I know that I was not disturbing anybody, I just needed to let my husband come back to hear mass. This is the only church in San Francisco or all over the world that a church goers has to wait before they can find a seat. A church should be welcoming to everybody that you can come and go inside the church even if the mass is going on. Unless you are making noise, that is not acceptable but we are not making noise, we just want to hear mass because we love God. Unless the policies of those people working/volunteering in this church will not change, I guess not a lot will go to this church and we promise that we will not come back in that church anymore. No wonder some people I know who live close to that church still go to our parish church which is 4 to 5 miles far. I hope the people concerned will read this poor review about their church and have some changes in order to welcome the parishioners or church goers.
